Contents :

Definitions of operating systems, programs/processes, multi tasking/ scheduling, scheduling-Algorithms, main memory administration, conventional and virtual paging/segmenting, page replacement algorithms.
Basic definitions of computer nets, modulation/coding, bit/byte synchronisation, protocol services, PDU, SDU, IDUI, ISO-OSI reference model, services, overview of the seven layers, link-layer using the example of BSC and LAPB (HDLC)
